Introduction
Are you over 18 and do you want to improve your knowledge about cyber-violence, including its root causes, forms, impact on victims, and the role of social media in perpetuating such behavior?
Take part in the “Cyberkind” training course in Tenerife, Spain from 25 May to 1 June 2024!
The project will involve 22 participants from all over Europe. “Asociación P.O.D” will organise the project. It is a non-profit organisation with almost a decade of working with Erasmus+ mobilities.
The objectives of the training course
The project wants to help the participants to understand cyber-violence better, including what causes it, the different types, how it affects victims, and how social media contributes to it.
The training course aim to:
- Lead a five-day course to teach 22 people about cyber-violence, covering its causes, types, effects on victims, and how social media contributes to it.
- Give practical skills for being safe online, such as understanding cybersecurity, spotting phishing, and managing their online presence.
- Give the knowledge and tools to handle cyber-violence, like reporting incidents, supporting victims, and using digital platforms for positive advocacy.
- Work together to create a 2-hour workshop on cyber-violence awareness, prevention, and intervention to help promote safe online behavior in their communities.

Who can participate?
In order to participate in this training course you should be part of one (or more) of this categories:
- Anyone 18 years or older (no upper age limit)
- People who work with young individuals (youth workers and volunteers)
- Individuals interested in topics like cyberviolence, gender-based violence, and domestic violence.
It is also important that the participants want to learn about the topic and they are willing to participate for the entire duration of the youth exchange.
What’s included?
All costs (accommodation, travel, food, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered.
The participants will receive the reimbursement via bank transfer after the activity.
