How can we make the European Youth Goals truly resonate with young people in our activities? Associazione Joint responds with a compact and practical toolkit: “5 Methodologies to Reach the Youth Goals”—a follow-up to previous collections published in 2022 and 2023.

This new release offers 5 non-formal education methodologies tested between 2023 and 2024, directly linked to key Youth Goals such as Inclusive Societies, Mental Health, Quality Learning, and Participation for All. Each activity is designed to be adaptable to both local and international contexts, and to foster meaningful participation and reflection among young people.

Highlights from the Toolkit

🔹 Goal 3 – Inclusive Societies
The Recipe of Safety: A creative method where small groups co-create a “recipe” for inclusion and safety. Great for setting group agreements and introducing safeguarding practices.

🔹 Goal 5 – Mental Health & Wellbeing
What’s up, inner child? reconnects participants with play and reflection, while Journaling for Emotional Wellbeingintroduces emotional literacy through body-awareness and personal journaling.

🔹 Goal 8 – Quality Learning
The Star of Your Own Constellation combines astronomy, storytelling, and creative writing to boost self-expression and team building under the night sky.

🔹 Goal 9 – Space and Participation for All
Rules’ Agreement – Guided Questions leads participants through co-creating respectful group norms using reflective questions—perfect for the beginning of an exchange or training.

Each method includes clear instructions, timing, group size, and materials. The result? A toolkit that doesn’t just explain how to “talk about” youth goals—but how to live them through experience.
