Introduction
Discover “THE FUTURE IS NOW”, a training course made specifically for youth workers.
This project aims to help young people in their communities develop skills that will make them better at getting jobs or starting their own businesses.
The program also guides them on choosing the right career path and supports them as they create their own companies or projects.
The training course will take place in Madrid, Spain from 08 to 14 March 2024.
The association Euroactiva-T will be organising the activities during the week.
The objectives of the training course
The participants will be 24 youth workers from Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Republic of North Macedonia, Slovak Republic, Spain, Türkiye.
In particular, the training course aim to:
- Help participants get better at giving professional advice and training
- Encourage teamwork among young people to boost their people skills and leadership
- Look at the skills needed and time required to succeed in a task
- Check out websites and strategies for starting businesses and working for oneself
- Motivate and teach young people to come up with business ideas and make smart models for starting various businesses
The programme
The project uses a teaching approach known as non-formal education, emphasising enjoyable and relaxed methods. Through this approach, they aim to assist individuals in acquiring new skills, attitudes, and competencies. By incorporating humor, creative techniques, and activities that promote empathy and symbolism, the objective is to nurture both personal and social development.
Who can participate?
The training course is directed to Youth workers, Trainers, Youth leaders, Youth project managers.
Participants must be at least 18 years old and speak English well.
What’s included?
The organisation will cover all costs regarding accommodation and food during the project.
